[News] SEWU-Seoul Junbu Police Station Discuss Strengthening Cooperation for Students and Community

On January 12, Soongeui Women's University held a meeting with the Seoul Jungbu Police Station to discuss mutual cooperation and collaborative measures for the development and safety of the local community.
Representing the Seoul Jungbu Police Station, San-ho Kim, Chief of the Seoul Jungbu Police Station, Hwan-cheol Yoon, Head of the Intelligence Division and Da-young Kim, Intelligence Officer, visited the university. They met with Kyung-ho Park, President of Soongeui Women's University, along with faculty and staff, and engaged in discussions in a cordial atmosphere on ways to strengthen cooperation for community safety and development.
President Kyung-ho Park expressed his appreciation, stating, "I am grateful to the Seoul Jungbu Police Station for their cooperation in ensuring that our sudents can focus on their studies in a safe environment." He added, “Moving forward, the university will continue to communicate closely with the local community and faithfully fulfill its role as an institution that grows together with the region.” He also introduced programs in which the university and its students are connected with the local community, emphasizing the university’s intention to expand collaborative activities with local organizations to contribute meaningfully to regional development.
In response, Chief San-ho Kim stated, “We place great importance on the fact that Soongeui Women’s University is expanding its role and participation within the local community.” He continued, “We will continue to work closely with the university to help create an environment where everyone can feel safe.” He further noted that a cooperative partnership with the university could bring about positive changes throughout the community, expressing his commitment to ongoing communication and joint efforts.



Following the meeting, the participants visited the Soongeui Women’s University History Museum, where they shared time learning about the university’s founding philosophy, educational ideals, and historical legacy.
This meeting with the Seoul Jungbu Police Station concluded as a meaningful occasion that reaffirmed a shared commitment to continued cooperation for the safety and development of the local community.
