The Division of Design at Soongeui Women’s University (Departments of Visual Design, Jewelry Design, and Fashion Design) has unveiled its 2025 online graduation exhibition, “SEWU SHOW” (sewu-show2025.net), drawing attention for the high-quality portfolios presented by aspiring designers. The exhibition has been praised for its independently structured sections that highlight the distinct identity and professional expertise of each discipline.
The Department of Visual Design presented a model example of integrated branding that enhances business value. From brand identity (BI·CI) to user-centered UI/UX design and sophisticated visual media, the department showcased strategic design capabilities that go beyond aesthetics to address real-world corporate and brand challenges.
The Department of Jewelry Design demonstrated a refined aesthetic by blending delicate craftsmanship with contemporary sensibilities. Ranging from fine jewelry based on intricate metalworking techniques to custom jewelry featuring innovative material use, the works simultaneously emphasized artistic value and commercial potential, highlighting the department’s distinctive creative vision.
The Department of Fashion Design revealed collections that reflect the spirit of the times through original silhouettes and strong individual philosophies. Through elegant reinterpretations of the human form in pattern making and bold mix-and-match use of materials, the collections bridged the practicality of ready-to-wear with the experimental spirit of haute couture.
